AUCKLAND TO TE AROHA
SUN CAR INAUGURATES NEW SERVICE Commencing to-day The Sun will run its own service car between Auckland and Te Aroha via Hamilton. The big yellow Cadillac with The Sun sign is a familiar sight on the Main South Road and for the past seven months has maintained a regular passenger and newspaper transport service between Auckland and Hamilton, connecting with Smith’s service for Rotorua. To meet the requirements of Morrinsville and Te Aroha the following new service will be run as from today : Leave Sun Office 3.15 p.m., arrive Hamilton 6.15 p.m., depart 6.30 p.m., arrive Te Aroha 8 p.m. daily. Leave Te Aroha 7.30 a.m., Hamilton 9 a.m., arrive Auckland noon daily. The through fare will be 20s single and 37s 6d return. This new service will give improved transport facilities between Auckland and Te Aroha, and will enable The Sun to be delivered to subscribers earlier than at present.
