CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING
HAMILTON CLUB’S EVENTS (From Our Oven Correspondent) HAMILTON, Monday. There was a good attendance at the opening of the Hamilton Gun Club s season at Ruakura on Saturday* afternoon, when some interesting clay-bird shooting was witnessed. The results were: Xo. 1 shoot, six birds.: T. Glenn. fiv« birds, 1; J. McMiken, G. Peach, and s Parlour, four birds, equal, 2. Six entrie-’ Xo. 2 shoot, seven birds.—C. Seddon and E. O’Kane, tied with the possible .Nine entries, Xo. 3 shoot, 10 birds, for trophv presented by Mr. J. McMiken: W. Howe and E. O’Kane tied with nine each The shoot-off resulted in a win for E. O’Kane C. Seddon, C. Clark**, and G. Peach tl**d for third place with eight birds each Eleven entries. Xo. 4 shoot, 10 birds, for trophv presented by Mr. H. Earle: Dr. Pinfold 1 S. Parlour 2, A. Woolven 3.
