CROQUET DANCE
AT HUNTLY The Huntly Croquet Club gave a dance on Thursday evening in the town hall. The night was ideal for dancing, and patrons had a jolly time. Messrs. D. Erown and H. Gavin acted as M.C.’s, and Mrs. Dodds, headed by a willing band of workers, who had all details working smoothly. The waltzing competition was won by Miss Kathleen Teare and Mr. M. Gardner. Miss M. Paton and Mr. J. Reilly were the winners of the Monte Carlo waltz. At cards the prizewinners were: Mrs. Lewis first, Mrs. Curnow second; men, Mr. David Luke first, Mr. E. Kuston, sen., second.
