EX-SOLDIER’S SEIZURE HEAD BADLY INJURED Shortly after 11 a.m. to-day W. Beresford, a returned soldier, collapsed at the corner of Shortland and High Streets. His head struck the kerbing, cutting a deep gash in one cheek. It is feared that his skull is fractured. Mr. Beresford is thought to have taken an epileptic fit. He was carried into a nearby building and later taken by the St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital where an X-ray examination was made. The injured man has been out of work for some time. He has only one arm. He lives at 46, College Hill.
