CANADIAN DISTILLERIES EXPORTS TO UNITED STATES (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian Press Association.) Reed. 9.5 a.m. MONTREAL,, Friday. A message from Windsor, Ontario, says a large liquor combine commenced operations to-day. The combine embraces virtually all the distillery Interests in Canada, and is the most powerful organisation yet attempted in the history of liquor exportation from Canada to the United States. The immediate effect of the organisation is expected to be an increase of from one to two dollars In the price of each case of liquor exported to the United States.
