CONCERT THIS MONTH The announcement of a return visit from Walter Ileughan. the celebrated actor-singer, and Gladys Sayer, pianist, will be received with appreciation by all those fortunate enough to hear this popular baritone on his last visit two or three years ago. In addition to possessing a voice of undoubted quantity and artistry considerably above the usual, Ileughan is an outstanding interpreter of folk songs, whether English, Irish, or Scottish. He is also quite at home in straight ballads, as those who heard him in Schumann’s “Two Grenadiers” will remember. Two concerts will be given at Auckland, on Monday, May 30. and Saturday. June 2. The box plan opens at Lewis Eady, Ltd., on Tuesday, May 22.
