PROGRESS IN HOSPITAL

The condition of Miss Dulcie Alwyn Woods, who Was 'knocked down by a motor-lqrry. in .Hauraki Road, Birkenhead, on Wednesday evening, was still serious this morning. A second examination of her injuries at the Auckland Hospital showed that there is no fracture at the base of the skull as was’ thought at first, but that her collarbone is broken and she is extensively bruised. Her spine has also beep injured, A further slight improvement is reported in the condition of Miss Olive Thompson, a victim of the bus accident at the corner of Green Lane and Wheturangi Road on Tuesday evening. The other three women, Mrs. E. Sullivan, Mrs. E. Gavin and Mrs. J. Geraghty, are progressing satisfactorily.
