BULL RUNS AMOK
CHASES CYCLIST AND RIPS HORSE
CAREER STOPPED BY DEATH
(From Our Own Correspondent) OTAHUHU, To-day. A bull which escaped from the holding paddocks in Saleyards Road, Otahuhu, yesterday, must hav 8 had a weak heart. He caused two hours’ excitement and then dropped dead. Drovers made strenuous efforts to recapture the beast, and it became so maddened that it turned and rushed one of its pursuers. His horse had a shoulder badly ripped, but the rider escaped injury. Next it turned its attention to a motor-cyclist, who broke all speed records and made bis escape. Disappoinment or excitement, or both, were too much for the bull. It dropped dead. The cyclist kept on.
