DOCTOR’S FATAL ERROR
OVERDOSE OF STRYCHNINE MARRIED WOMAN DIES (United P. A.—By Telegraph — Copyright.) Reed. 9.25 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A married woman at Parkes, Mrs. Cross, has died as a result of poisoning. A doctor informed the police that he was mixing a tonic for her and that he had inadvertently used an overdose of strychnine in mistake for quinine, which has similar powers. The police are holding an inquiry.
