NORTH AUCKLAND FUNCTION WAIOTIRA-KIRIKOPUNI LINE

(From Our Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, Tuesday. Arrangements For the official opening of the Waiotira-Kiriko-puni railway section were nade today at a meeting of representatives of the Dargaville Borough Council, Hobson County Council and Dargaville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. F. A. Jones, Mayor of Dargaville, presided. It was decided to hold the opening ceremony upon the arrival of the express at Kirikopuni at 3 o’clock next Tuesday, May 15. A number of North Auckland local bodies’ representatives and several prominent public men are to be invited to attend.
