ENGINEER APPOINTED FOR A.A.A. MEMBERS
EXPERT ADVICE The appointment of a technical engineer is the latest development of the Auckland Automobile Association. A T the meeting of the council last evening, Mr. F. Cullen, engineer, of Auckland, was appointed to the position, and will commence duties immediately. He will be available at the A.A.A. office during certain hours every day and for a set fee his services may be secured to give an expert report on the condition of any member’s car. The secretary reported that 232 new members had joined during the past month, SI being introduced by the patrols. The list of members, after the usual monthly purging which removed 64 names, now stands at 6,670.
