GUN HORSES BOLT

TWO TERRITORIALS BADLY SHAKEN (Special to THE SUN I WANGANUI, Wednesday. During manoeuvres at Putiki two horses pulling a gun carriage bolted. The two territorials on the carriage hung on until it hit a bump and they were thrown in the air, being badly shaken when they struck the ground. Before the horses were stopped they smashed several fences and did other damage. The two territorials are on the sicklist, but neither was seriously injured.
