“ ’URE, get yer ’ands off me—give me a fair go, that’s all I ask.” There were sounds of strife in the prisoners’ room at the Police Court to-day when an elderly man was called to answer a charge of drunkenness. As a policeman dragged him in he was smiting at imaginary assailants on all sides. “He’s in the horrors,” said SubInspector McCarthy. “Remanded for medical treatment,” said the magistrate.
