CURFEW FOR GANG
CHRISTCHURCH YOUTHS IN COURT “BORROWED” MOTOR-CAR Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. For converting a motor-car to their own use three youths to-day were admitted to probation for two years. Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., said there was too much of the gang element in Christchurch—more than anywhere else in New Zealand. These associations of youths would have to be broken up. He imposed conditions on the accused that they must not go to dances, not go out after eight p.m., and must not associate with persons considered undesirable by the probation officer.
