WON BY A.J.S
IMPORTANT ENGLISH EVENT
What is doubtless one of the most important motor-cycle contests held in the British Empire is the A.C.U. sixdays’ stock trial, which is held each year in England toward the end of winter.
This year it was run on March 19 to 24, and practically every leading British manufacturer entered a team, which consists of three machines, selected by the A.C.U. officials from various depots in different parts of England. Machines are then placed under obj servation, and while certain tuning is ! allowed, no altex-ations must be made : in any shape or form from standard. ! Complete derails of the trial are not j yet to hand, but A. J. Stevens and Co., Etd., Wolverhampton, England, have ; cabled to their Sydney representatives, I Still and Parry Pty., Ltd., indicating ! that the three machines entered by them have all finished with a perfect ! score, and that they also won the team’s prize outright.
