CAR KNOCKS CHILD DOWN

A\ hile attempting to cross the Great South Road at Otahuhu yesterday afternoon, Doreen Thelma Kent-John-son, aged six years, who lives with her parents at Great South Road, Otahuhu. was knocked down by a motor-car driven by Mr. Edward Fowler, of Takanini.

She was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from knee and head wounds, but her condition is not regarded as serious.
