LORD TERRINGTON’S MIX-UP GRAVE ALLEGATIONS MADE LON DOM. May J. i Lord Terrington, who is a solicitor under the style of ai:d 1 Company, appeared in the Guildhall on 21 charges of fraudulent conversion involving £60,000. Lord Terrington *s ' liabilities are estimated at £ 400.000, and his assets at £6.000. The £60.000 which accused is j charged with misappropriating b*1 longed to his clients. Sir Harold Reckitt, Mr. H. R. Wakefield and Mrs, Molyneux. Mr. Eustace Fulton prose* | euted and Mr. Harold Simmons de- ! fended. Mr. Fulton outlined the transactions, in the course of which Lord Terring- | ton had sold without authority, either ; to defray mortgages or for the credit ' of his own account, Sir Harcld Reckiit’s shares in Reckitt atid Company. Sir Harold had instructed him to '-ell other shares to reduce two overdrafts, and Terrington ha 3 converted £5,450 to his own use. Lady Nunburnholme lent him £9.000, which he paid into Court after she had issued a writ for its recovery.
