PUNISHED FOR ASSAULT
PROBATION AND GAOL Press Association. TIMARU, To-day. At the Supreme Qpurt to-day Mr. Justice Adams imposed the following sentences: William Howard Rumble, for common assault, was placed on probation for two years, and was ordered to abstain from liquor and cigarettes. John Morgan, for the same offence, was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment.
