During the trip the winner made several skips, short breaks and tangles, but did not lose any ground. Over the last circuit Repute. Merry Bingen, Kerr wood Bell, Jock Bingen, Commander Bingen and Jade were racing in close order. Commander Bingen broke going along the back, and Repute succeeded in beating Jade by two lengths for second place, with Merry Bingen and Kerrwood Bell close up.
