ONE TENDER MADE FOR CIVIC SQUARE
OVER £5,000 PER ANNUM
OFFERED
One tender only was received by the City Council last evening for Civic Square leases offered under new conditions. This was put in by Messrs. Inder and Metcalfe,* acting as agents for an undisclosed company, and was for sections 3, 4. 6,7, 20, and parts of 10 and I 11, all in block “A.” The tenderers I offered £3,530 annually for this area, I and £1,920 per annum for lot 5, over which they already hold an option. The tender was referred to the Finance Committee.
