NEW MEMBERS ELECTED (United P.A. —Bn Telegraph Copyright) (Australian P.A.—United Service) Reed. noon. LONDON, Wednesday. At tlie annual meeting of the Marylebone Club, at Lord’s, Lord le Confield presided. Stanyforth, A. E. R. Gilligan, and Lionel Palaret were elected to membership. , Lord Le Confield, the retiring president, referred to the fine work of Stanyforth and the team in South Africa. Lord Harris, seconding the proposal, mentioned that a letter of appreciation had been received from the South African Association. Lord le Confield nominated the Earl of Lucan for the presidency in 1925. A special meeting later approved of the step taken in petitioning the King to grant the club a charter of incorporation. 1
