POLL NEXT SATURDAY
ROSKILL ROAD BOARD The annual poll of ratepayers for the election of nine members to the Mount Roskill Road Board will be taken on Saturday next. The hours for pollingare from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the followmg booths: A ucklancfr of Commerce, Swanson Street, Methodist Hall, Pah Road, Greenwood’s Corner. Mr. Oantelm’s Garage, Pah Road, near Mount Albert Road. Mount Roskill Road Board Office, Mount Albert Road. Mrs. Brown’s shop, Dominion Road, near Kings Road. Mrs. Pascoe’s residence, Richardson Road. There are 20 candidates, including seven of the sitting members:—Messrs. E F Jones .chairman, A. S. Belcher, T. Davies' E. W. Foote, W. W. Kerr, J. R. Robertson, and L. A. Tozer. The other candidates ai'e:—Messrs. J. IT. Cooper. T. Cummick, .T. Donald, S. I Goodall, E. J. Hamlet, E. J. Herd, j! Patter-son, E. A. Pearce, A. Roberts, S. Scarborough, "W. R. Swales, G. E. Tansley, and F. Ward.
