HEAVY POLL RECORDED

ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS INTEREST AT ONE TREE HILL The election of seven members to the One Tree Hill Road Board, which was held yesterday, aroused a great deal of interest among ratepayers in the board’s district, and a heavy poll was recorded. Five members of the old board were re-elected, and one deposed. Fifteen candidates went to the poll. MOUNT WELLINGTON Keen intei'est was shown in the election of five members to constitute the Mount Wellington Rond Board for the ensuing term. About 70 per cent, of the ratepayers on the roll registered their votes. Mi*. J. W.
