CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR

VISIT OF DR. POOLE The Auckland council of the Christian Endeavour Union, which met this week, reports that arrangements are well in hand for the forthcoming visit of Dr. Poole, president of the Christian Endeavour Union of Great Britain. A banquet in his honour will be held on Tuesday, June 5. The resignation of Mr. J. B. Edmonds, vice-presidnt, was received with regret. Mr. S. Jansen was elected to the vacant position. Miss Welch, of Greenlane, was voted junior superintendent. Reports of society meetings were read by delegates.
