“Brilliant Scholars Fail as Teachers”
‘‘We have had case after case of brilliant scholars getting high degrees and turning out no good as teachers,” declared Mr. H. - King, at to-day's meeting of the Education Board, when a teacher icith university degrees was being criticised on the ground of inefficiency. “They are still students,” said the chairman, Mr. A. Burns. It teas suggested that the teacher should concentrate on his primary school worh and leave his academical studies till later.
