Hia Excellency the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Charles Fergusson, left Ngaruawahia last night for the National Park, where he proposes to spend a few days fishing. He v/as accompanied by the Lady Alice Fergusson and Mrs. Haviland, their daughter. Lord Waleran, A.JD.C.. was in attendance. Messrs. W. H. Gummer and C. R. Ford left for Wellington last evening by the Limited. T. G. Julian, who has obtained the contract for the new railway station at Auckland, left for Wellington last evening. Mr. J. Kearney, assistant postmaster at Auckland, is at present on leave. Mr. George Ebbett, of Hastings, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited.. Mr. R- W. Wallace was a passenger by the Limited from Wellington this morning. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Lewis, Levin, were among the passengers who arrived this morning by the Limited from Wellington. Mr. E. P.
