WORKSHOPS PRESENTATION Mr. J. H. Whitburn, general foreman at the Newmarket Railway Workshops, lias retired after completing 39 years in the service of the Railway Department. On Saturday the workshops staff met Mr. Whitburn and presented him with a gold chain for himself, and a tea set for his wife. Complimentary reference to Mr. "Whitburn’s service was made by several speakers.
