WASHINGTON, Frij With the Bremen flyers now en route here by train from New York, Lieutenant Floyd Bennet was buried at Arlington, in hard, wind-blown rain, with full military honours, close to Commander R. E. Peary’s grave. The ceremonies were simple and stern. A short service was read, and three volleys were fired. Lieutenant Bennett's wife, his mother, Commander Byrd, naval and other officials were present. The entire Capitol paid respects to the flyer, and wreaths from the Bremen men were placed on the grave.
