OLD WINE COMPANY FORCED TO WIND UP

BRAYS, LTD., LIQUIDATED The compulsory winding-up of Brays Vineries, Ltd., was petitioned for in the Bankruptcy Court this morning by Mr. Butler. Counsel stated that the company - had gone into voluntary liquidation, but no liquidator had been appointed. The company consisted of two shareholders, husband and wife, the former being managing director and the latter debenture holder and the only other shareholder. Mr. O'Donnell stated that a receiver was put in on March 20, and had been carrying on the business in the hope of selling it as a going concern. If an official liquidator were appointed he was willing to assist in realising the assets of the concern.

Mr. Butler agreed to this, and Mr. Justice MacGregor made the order for winding-up, and appointed the official assignee as liquidator.
