THIRD INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE * MR. GARDEN ELECTED (United P. A.—By Telegraph — Copyright.) Reed. 9.30 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The All-Australian Council of Trade Unions has reaflirmed Its, decision to hold aloof from the Federal Government’s Industrial Peace Conference. The council decided to convene a Pan-Pacific Conference in Australia next year. Delegates from China and Japan will be invited. Advice was received from Moscow that Mr. J. Garden, secretary of the Trades and Labour Council, has been elected to the executive’ of the Third International, which local Communitls and Mr. Garden regard as a great honour.
