FALCON ISLAND ACTIVE
IN ERUPTION AGAIN ITS LENGTH INCREASED (United P. A.—By Telegraph Copyright.) Reed. 10.43 a.m. SUVA, To-day. The New Zealand Government steamer Tutanekai reports that Falcon Island was in eruption last evening. It has increased its length, which is now two miles. Falcon Island, in the Friendly Group, made its appearance above the ocean on October 14, 1885, after a volcanic eruption. It disappeared for a time, but wae again uplifted.
