Kicked by Horse. —Francis Jackson, aged three, was playing in a paddock off Nelson Street about 5 p.m. yesterday- when he was kicked on the right side of the face by a horse. The child was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His parents live in Nelson Street. Michael Altman, wholesale grocer of Chicago, has attended theatrical firstnights for 40 years, and has recorded in 42 volumes his impressions of 5,000 plays.
