GREAT SEND-OFF TO MISS N. WILSON Press Association. GISBORNE, To-day. Miss Norma Wilson, who is leaving to-day to represent New Zealand at the Olympic Games, was given a great send-off. She has been the guest of honour at numerous functions during the past week, including a civic farewell and several entertainments from the Maoris. Lady Carroll presented her with a valuable mat, and another mat given by the tribes of Poverty Bay and Hawke’s Bay. She also carries a greenstone tiki for good luck. The citizens presented her with a travelling outfit.
