HARRIERS’ CLUB FORMED AT HAMILTON
INAUGURAL MEETING HELD (From Our Own Correspondent J HAMILTON, Thursday. For the purpose of forming a. harriers’ club in Hamilton a special meeting of all those interested was held last evening. The proposal was submitted by Mr. F. A. de la Mare, who stressed the fact that long-distance running was one of the best means of keeping physically fit. It was decided to form a harriers’ club, and a committee was appointed to draft rules and prepare a constitution. A further meeting will be held shortly to elect officers and select colours.
