‘NOT A LIVE BODY”
INDICTMENT OF ENGLISH HOCKEY BOARD REQUESTS ALWAYS IGNORED “The International Board of Hockey Control does not sem to be a live body. During the last few years the Auckland Hockey Association and others have repeatedly sent Home requesst for interpretations of rules and for decisions, but these have been continually ignored. Our letters have never been returned, so it is clear they hav been received.” Such was the statement of Mr. L. C. Kent, president of the Auckland Hockey Association, at its annual meeting last evening. The view was expressed during the discussion of a South Island proposal virtually suggesting that New Zealand should secede from the English governing body, and formulate her own rules.
