MAN MISSING

NO TRACE SINCE SUNDAY AUTHORITIES APPREHENSIVE A porter from the Jubilee Institute for the Blind, John Gardiner, has been missing since Sunday, and the authorities have become anxious about him. He left the institute after dinner, and as he did not return a search was made. His room was found to be in its usual good order, and there was nothing to account for his disappearance. Gardiner is 51 years of age, of medium height, sandy hair, thin, and was wearing a grey suiit. He speaks with a Scottish accent. The authorities state that the mVising man is steady and reliable.
