MOTOR-CAR ON FIRE

BRIGADE’S GOOD SAVE As Mr. J. Menzies, of Campbell Road, Royal Oak, was adjusting the carburetter of his car outside his garage yesterday afternoon, the engine back-fired and the front of the car was instantly ablaze. The prompt action of the Onehunga Fire Brigade, however, quickly suppressed the flames before they had spread to the body of.the car, the only damage done being to the wiring.
