BUSH FIRES RAGE
OHAKUNE IN DANGER (From Our Own Correspondent) OHAKUNE, To-day. A fierce gale has enveloped Ohakune, Raetihi, Rangataua, Pokaka, and Horopito in flames. The wind is constantly changing, its course taking the fires in all directions. A portion of Ohakune is in grave danger. News is sparse regarding other centres owing to roads being impassable. Many families are surrounded.
