CONVERSION OF CAR BAD MEN WITH A “LIST” (From Our Own Correspondent) TAIHAPE, To-day. For converting a car to their own «se, three men, John Francis Griffiths, •Jhas Carey, John Henry Peachy and John Fleming, appeared in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. J. F. Aldridge, and Mr. F. W. Stringer, Justices of the peace. The accused pleaded guilty, and were Jonvicted and sentenced to three JUonths’ imprisonment. The Bench pronounced them to be bad characters with long records.
