OFFICE PREMISES GUTTED BRIGADE’S HARD TASK Press Association TAURANGA. To-day. Fire gutted the business premises Owned and occupied by Mr. G. Maltby, solicitor, and Mr. E. T. Baker, estate and commission agent, at one o'clock this morning:. When discovered by the nigh twatch man it had a good hold, and when the brigade arrived it had a hard fight, as there was a strong ■Wind blowing. Other tenants. Mr. Chilcott, tailor, Stevens and Goulding. surveyors, and the Plunket Rooms all suffered considerable loss. The insurances are not available.
