CAPTAIN W. J. HARDHAM Press Association. WELLINGTON, Friday. Captain William James Hardham, V.C., who died this evening, was born in Wellington in 1876, was a wellknown athlete and soldier. He served in the Boer War from 1901 to 1902, and won the Victoria Cross for bringing in a wounded trooper under fire. In the Great War Captain Hardham served with the Main Body in Egypt and Palestine, and on Gallipoli
