Golf Season Opens on Auckland Links

FIRST BALL PLAYED ONE TREE HILL CEREMONY Several of the Auckland golf clubs officially opened their links to-day. Waitemata, Glendowie and One Tree Hill were opened by official ceremonies. The principal function v/Us at One Tree Hill, where there was a very large muster and mixed foursomes were played. The course was in poor order owing to the low rainfall. The official first ball of the season was driven from the first tee by Mr. F. W. Wilson, club captain, at this course.
