“AN IMPOSITION”

CHILDREN’S RADIO FEES CRIPPLES MUST PAY “It's an imposition to make cripple children in hospital pay full licence fees,” said James Davies, who was charged at the Police Court to-day with having an unlicensed radio in his possession. A radio inspector said that the set was being used by a child in hospital, and defendant had refused to pay a renewal fee. “It’s an imposition to ask the cripple children to pay when they only listen-in, between six and seven o’clock,” declared Davies. "The law says you must pay.” replied Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., as he fined defendant 10s.
