HUSSARS GIVE UP HORSES # ' ARMOURED-CAR UNIT British Wireless—Press Assn.—Copyright Reed. 11.10 a.m. RUGBY, Wed. The lltli Hussars bade farewell to their horses at parade at Aldershot to-day. In a few days t?/; officers and troopers are to begin their training in armoured-car work, as the first step toward their transformation from a cavalry regiment to an ar-moured-car unit. The 300 officers and troopers in their saddles 'made a picturesque sight to-day. Colonel Sutton, commander, headed the parade. Although the regiment, whose record dates back to 1715, is very disappointed at the change, all ranks are intent on building up new traditions. They retain the title of the 11th Hussars.
