ACCLIMATISATION WORK

SOCIETY’S ACTIVITIES

‘The last three years have been outstanding in the history of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society,” said the president, Mr. C. A. Whitney, at the annual meeting last evening. The decision to hold four council meetings during the year at country centres and to hold the annual meeting in the country every three years was an important step toward effecting the co-operation of the affiliated clubs.

McKenzie; vice-president, Captain R. White; council, Mr. W. G. Wohlmanu. Mr. H. C. Savage, Mr. T. Clarke, Dr. T. W. J. Johnson, Dr. H. A. Chatlield and the sitting members, Mr. W. Cook, Mr. R. H.
