WILLIAMS—CORDES
In St. Barnabas's Church, the wedding was celebrated, yesterday morning of Eunice, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Cordes, of Esplanade Road, Mt. Eden, and Vincent John, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Williams, of Waiuku. The Rev. E. E. Bamford officiated. Two maids attended the bride, who was daintily dressed in cameo-rose georgette. Her veil was of rose-pink tulle, and it fell from a double coronet of orange blossoms to form a long train. Pink and white chrysanthemums made a pretty bridal bouquet. The bridesmaids were Misses Beryl Cordes and Kathleen Peek, and their frocks were of lavender-tinted georgette, made in tiered fashion, and large shoulder posies were worn. Their headdresses were of tulle and silver leaves, and they carried bouquets to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. R. de Latour as best man, and Mr. Ormond Cordes as groomsman. After the wedding a reception was held in the Domain Tea Kiosk.
