ADRIFT OFF RANGITOTO

POLICE RECOVER SKIFF The Devonport police report having picked up a boat in the Rangitoto Channel on Sunday morning. The boat, which is a, single sculling skiff, equipped with outriggers, has the name Orakei 1., dimly discernable on the bow. It shows signs of having been battered on the rocks, and was picked up between Rangitoto and Narrow* Neck Beach. The craft, which is thought to have drifted away from some boat-shed, is in the charge of the police.
