The professional boxing contest of 15 rounds, for the New Zealand middle-weight championship, between Jim Broadfoot and Harry Casey, at Greymouth on Saturday night, was won by Casey on points, after a very good bout. Broadfoot boxed well although he was once down for nine seconds, but Casey was superior both in attack and defence. It was Casey’s finest exposition here. —Press Association.
