Round the Churches
The headmaster of King's College Canon H. K. Archdall, will be tli€ preacher at St. Alary’s Cathedral tomorrow morning. The archbishop wil conduct the evening service.
St Matthew’s morning service will be conducted by the archbishop, and Canon Grant Cowen will officiate in the evening.
The services at St. Paul's will include a lantern lecture on “The Earl> r Life of Jesus Christ,” and, in conjunction with the celebration of Holy Communion there will be a procession in the morning.
The eight branches of the Associated Churches of Christ w'ill hold services at 11 a.m. for “Fellowship,” and at 7 p.m. for “Gospel Proclamation.” ♦ * * There will be a grand rally of spiritualists at the Hall of Psychology when the heads of the Church in New eZaland will give addresses and psychic demonstrations. The Rev. W. Gilmour will conduct services at the Edendale Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. J. Pattison will officiate at Somervell, Remuera,
• * * Nurse Clayton will speak on the j subject, “Does Christ Save Us, or Do j We Save Ourselves?” at the Church j of True Spiritual Light, Pitt Street, and “The Risen Christ” will be the subject of an address by Airs. Harris i Roberts at the Spiritual Scientists’ J Church, Karangahape Road. No ser- j vices will be held at the Progressive j Church of Spiritualists, Newmarket. i The Rev. A. S. Wilson will conduct j the usual services at Grange Road ' Baptist Church, and the Rev. T. H. Eccersall will hold two services at Otahuhu. There will be the usual morning and evening services at the Christian Science Church, Symonds Street, and a testimony meeting will be held on Wednesday. Solemn Pontifical Alass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in the morning by the Right Rev. Dr. Liston, and in the evening Father Eccleton will give an address on "Tha Catholic Church.” The usual Sunday afternoon meeting will be held at the Y.M.C.A.. the speaker being the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeo ur. * * * Easter services will be conducted by the missioner and Mr. J. C. Harwood in the morning and evening at the Alethodist Central Mission and ,-eri vices will also be held at the France j Street branch.
