FALL FROM LORRY

MAORI KILLED STRIKES HEAD ON STONE Press Association GISBORNE, To-day. Fatal injuries as the result of a fall from a lorry were received by a Maori, Raa Te Rauna, aged 27, of Ruatoria. Deceased was going with another *ban in an empty lorry to secure chopping blocks for the Ruatoria sports, the lorry swayed, and he overbalanced and fell head first on to the toad, striking his head on ,a stone. He was admitted to the Te Puia Hospital last evening suffering from ?- compound fracture of the skull, bui died early his morning.
